What type of
images should I use in my project?
If you are scanning the images yourself from photographs or
providing files from a digital camera, it is best to save them
in .tiff format at 300dpi or greater. This format is optimal for
preserving the original color and sharpness of your image.
What is a
"Bleed" and when do I need it?
Bleed is the term for printing that goes right to the edge of
the paper. There are many different configurations of bleed with
differing requirements dependent on the type of project.
How do I know
if my file is ok to print?
If you are not sure that your file will work, you can send
it to us and we will examine it to see if there are any major
flaws which would present issues with quality and/or
printability. We can make recommendations so that you can fix
your document, or in most cases our prepress department can make
the adjustments for you. Major adjustments requiring significant
time on our part will be billed on an hourly basis.
